Duo Soprano e Arpa, Caroline Goodwin

Welcome to my JASSICAL Galaxy!

CAROLINE - CLASSICAL SOPRANO, JAZZ VOCALIST AND SINGER-SONGWRITER

Caroline was literally born singing into a musical family.  Some of her earliest performances were at her mother's Musical Evenings with the local Operatic Society.
She was active as a singer all throughout her childhood and University years, writing her own socio/political songs as she travelled in the Middle East.
After graduation she began perfecting her singing technique in London with Junewyn Jones, an Australian soprano.  After moving to Italy she completed her training with Sylvia Rhys-Thomas and Enrico Fissore.
She has appeared with the Floral Opera at Covent Garden, and in numerous concerts and recitals in the UK and Europe.
She currently teaches singing and music at Saint Louis School, Milan as well as continuing her recitalist activities.
she has composed a number of religious solos based on Bible texts and also educational songs for Early Years learning.  Since 2013 she has revisited her love for jazz and modern love-ballads.
Her latest venture is into recording and releasing her own singer-songwriter modern ballads, her debut single "Christmas Angel - Just a Tender Word" is out now!
She has coined the term Jassical to describe her own music - Modern ballads with classical overtones.
